Glenallachie 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery stands near Aberlour and was built in 1967, mainly to supply the MacKinlay blends.
The whisky has a polished bronze colour. Butterscotch and honey lead on the nose, with raisins and mocha in the background. On the palate come honey, marzipan and banana, with plenty of butterscotch, raisins and a delicate hint of mocha.
