This GlenAllachie is a 12 year old Speyside single malt, bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. It is a further addition to the distillery's Virgin Oak Series. The whisky is first matured in American ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in Spanish virgin oak casks. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose is honey, wax, coconut and candied orange. On the palate come honey, gentle sweetness, ginger, white pepper, vanilla and milky coffee. The finish is mocha and orange, with good length.
