GlenAllachie – 13 Year Old 2006 - Single Cask #866 - Ralfy 10th Anniversary is a single malt whisky from GlenAllachie (Speyside). Aged 13 years, bottled at 59.9% ABV, 70cl.
Built and founded in 1967, The GlenAllachie malt whisky distillery was overseen by Mackinlay McPherson. A few years later in 1985 it was bought and mothballed by Invergordon Distillers. 1989 saw it bought by Campbell Distillers who looked to breathe new life into it. Its most recent history sees the master Billy Walker at the helm with Graham Stevenson and Trisha Savage by his side. Famous for their single cask releases and their sherried expressions, this distillery is one of the most exciting ones of modern times.
Distilled at Glenallachie distillery on the 19th of April 2006 and matured in a port pipe for 13 years, this single malt was bottled to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Ralfy.com in May 2019.
