Pedro Ximénez sherry puncheon
A 14 year old single cask GlenAllachie from Speyside, matured in Pedro Ximénez sherry puncheon 8287 and bottled for the UK market in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled on 19th December 2011 and bottled on 1st September 2026 at a natural cask strength of 53.8% ABV. Fourteen years in sweet PX wood give it the darker, stickier character within the GlenAllachie range. The nose offers heather honey, toasted almonds and molasses, then brandied plums, dark cocoa and baked orange, with fig jam and baking spice emerging over time. On the palate are cocoa, dark chocolate, candied ginger, crème de cassis and mānuka honey. The finish brings dark chocolate, cassis, sticky fruit and warming spice.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
