GlenAllachie 15 Year Old is a single malt that joined the distillery's core range in 2019. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
After maturation it was finished in sherry casks, a mix of puncheons and hogsheads that had previously held Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso.
In the tasting notes the nose offers peanut brittle, dates and chocolate ice cream. The palate brings walnut, raisin, Christmas spices and fresh ginger, and the finish moves to coffee, Turkish delight and a hint of flaky sea salt.
