GlenAllachie 15 Year Old is a single malt bottled at 46%, matured in a mix of PX and oloroso sherry casks. Billy Walker, who has worked on it since taking over the distillery in October 2017, describes it as the perfect presentation of the distillery's character, with the new-make and the sherry casks in balance.
The colour is a clear sunset amber. The nose brings cream caramels, raisins and sweet spices. On the palate come sweet spices, raisins, banana, orange peel and dark chocolate.
