This is a GlenAllachie 16 Year Old made for Billy Walker's 50th anniversary in the whisky industry. The Present edition is the second of a trilogy of releases marking the milestone. It was distilled in Speyside and matured in Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks, then moved to Mizunara virgin oak casks for finishing.
It was bottled at 48% ABV without chill filtration or artificial colouring, in a release of 2,900 bottles.
