GlenAllachie – 16 Year Old Past Edition Billy Walker 50 Years in the Industry (70cl, 57.1%)

This GlenAllachie is a 16 year old single malt, released as a Past Edition to mark Billy Walker's 50 years in the industry. It is bottled at 57.1% in a 70cl bottle, without added colour and without chill-filtration. The nose offers walnuts, heather honey and dried fruit, with roasted coffee, orange peel and a touch of cinnamon. The palate is full-bodied and silky, starting with fig syrup, caramelised muscovado sugar and toasted pine nuts, followed by crystallised ginger and dried apricots. The finish is long, with heather honey and mild spice.
