GlenAllachie – 18 Year Old (46%)

This is an 18 year old single malt Scotch whisky from GlenAllachie, bottled at 46% and non-chill-filtered, with natural colour. The colour is an intense chestnut. The house character is a rich, robust spirit with heather and butterscotch notes. The nose offers heather honey, toffee and muscovado sugar, with dark chocolate, caramel and dried sultanas. The palate is full of fruit cake, butterscotch and wild Scottish honey, followed by blackcurrant, almonds and soft oak spice on the finish.
