This GlenAllachie is a 14 year old single cask single malt from Speyside, bottled by The Maltman at cask strength, 52.8% ABV. It was distilled in June 2008 and bottled in April 2023.
It comes from a single hogshead and yielded 260 bottles. It is non-chill-filtered and uncoloured. The Maltman is a brand of Meadowside Blending Co. of Glasgow, founded in 2011 by Donald Hart and his son Andrew.
The nose offers summer fruit such as apricots and peaches with a hint of chocolate cake. The palate is creamy and oily, with dark sultanas, brioche, peanut butter and caramel toffee. The finish is long and velvety, with toasted almonds, ginger and pastry.
