This is a 13 year old Glenallachie, distilled on 20 November 2008 and bottled in July 2022 at 55.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It comes from a single Ruby Port cask, number 2583, and filled 313 bottles as batch 4 for Denmark.
On the nose there are waves of honeysuckle, molasses and plum syrup, with cinnamon, butterscotch and nutmeg. The palate brings layers of treacle, dark chocolate and mocha, then brandy snaps, Black Forest gateau and cinnamon, with ginger and butterscotch on the finish.
