This is a 14 year old Glenallachie, distilled on 12 November 2008 and bottled in April 2023 at 55.5%, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in virgin oak cask no. 473, which gave 281 bottles, produced exclusively for Denmark as part of Denmark batch 5.
The nose offers chocolate, toasted oats and butterscotch, with vanilla pods, glazed cherries and cinnamon swirls. On the palate come digestive biscuit, crème brûlée and heather honey, then chocolate, vanilla and red berries. Cinnamon and gingersnaps mark the finish.
