This is a 13 year old Glenallachie, distilled on 5 November 2009 and bottled in July 2022 at 59.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It comes from a single Premier Cru Classé cask, number 1040, and filled 323 bottles exclusively for Denmark as batch 4.
The nose offers lashings of redcurrant, honeycomb and orange zest, with hints of candied fruit, rose petal and fennel. On the palate come waves of butterscotch, soft spice and ginger snaps, followed by espresso, hazelnuts and honeycomb.
