This is a 13 year old Glenallachie, distilled on 18 March 2009 and bottled in June 2022 at 57.9% ABV. It is Batch 4, drawn from a single Oloroso hogshead and filled into 352 bottles exclusively for Denmark.
The nose is full of hazelnuts, honeycomb and grape must, followed by brown sugar, almonds and ginger. On the palate come brandy snaps, heather honey and fig syrup, with apple peel, cinnamon sticks and more ginger.
