This Glenallachie is a 13-year-old single malt, distilled on 1 June 2009 and bottled in April 2023 at 56.4%, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in a PX hogshead, and 250 bottles were filled for Denmark batch 5.
The nose offers heather honey, brambles and truffle butter, with hints of cinnamon, dark chocolate and treacle syrup. Raisin and fig lead the palate, followed by chocolate, butterscotch and espresso, and the finish brings honeycomb and caramel.
