This GlenAllachie is a sherry-led Speyside single malt from 2010, matured in an oloroso cask and bottled at a cask strength of 56.6%. The distillery is run by Billy Walker.
It has a mahogany colour and a sweet nose of dark chocolate, plums, orange and a nutty note. On the palate dark chocolate returns with coffee, followed by layers of nut, caramel and orange, before a long finish.
