This is an 11 year old Glenallachie from a single Tawny Port hogshead, bottled at 53.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle as part of Denmark batch 5.
The whisky was distilled on 15 August 2011 and bottled in April 2023, producing 339 bottles made exclusively for Denmark.
The nose is full of caramel, heather honey and dried red berries, with hazelnut, dark chocolate and mocha. On the palate come heather honey, glacé cherries and hazelnuts, followed by chocolate shavings, cinnamon swirls and toffee sauce.
