This is GlenAllachie 21 Year Old Cask Strength, Batch 7, a Speyside single malt released in August 2026. It is bottled at its natural cask strength of 51.9% in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour and without chill filtration. The whisky was first matured in bourbon barrels, then given an extended second maturation in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry puncheons and hogsheads sourced from Spain. It has an opaque mahogany colour. The nose brings baked ginger, mocha, honeycomb, spiced orange, candied hazelnuts, toasted cinnamon and cocoa. On the palate are black cherries, poached red apples, mānuka honey, crystallised ginger, muscovado sugar, damson plums and treacle. The finish is mānuka honey and raisin buttercream.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
