This is a 30 year old Speyside single cask single malt from Glenallachie, bottled by Douglas Laing in its Xtra Old Particular series. It was distilled in February 1992 and matured in a refill barrel until bottling in December 2022 at a natural cask strength of 47.3% ABV. The cask gave 190 bottles, with no colouring and no chill-filtration.
The aromas include raspberry jam, buttered scones, peaches and spiced oak. The finish brings tropical fruit and sweet malt.
