GlenAllachie 35 Year Old is a single malt bottled at a natural cask strength of 50.2% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The whisky matured in four types of cask: Mizunara virgin oak, American virgin oak, Oloroso sherry and Pedro Ximénez sherry. The Mizunara is Japanese oak from trees up to 200 years old. Billy Walker judged the whisky ready after 35 years.
It is described as dark and intense, with layers of spice, dried fruit, cocoa and honey, silky yet powerful.
