A seven-year-old Speyside single malt from GlenAllachie, bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. It has been finished in Hungarian virgin oak (Quercus Petraea) from the Zemplén forest in the north-east of the country, where slow-growing trees give the wood a tight grain. The barrels were toasted and charred to a medium level before use.
It is among the first single malts finished in Hungarian virgin oak, and is described as aromatic and well balanced, with a silky richness.
