GlenAllachie 8 Year Old Koval Rye Wood Finish is a Speyside single malt bottled at 48% vol in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration or colouring.
Billy Walker finished it in empty rye casks from the American Koval Distillery.
The nose is typically described as rich spice, chiefly cinnamon and nutmeg, with cloves, honey and buttercream. The palate offers an intense, sweetish spiciness with honey and butterscotch. The finish carries subtle cloves and cinnamon and is very rounded.
