GlenAllachie 8 Year Old is a Speyside single malt bottled at 46% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose is complex from the first moment, with sweet heather honey, butterscotch and cinnamon, followed by a little ginger and roasted almonds. The palate is syrupy and sweet, with good raisins, more toffee-like butterscotch and later a touch of mint. The finish fades slowly, with raisins, dark honey and a hint of oak.
