This is a 9 year old Speyside single malt from GlenAllachie, distilled in 2012 and bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the distillery's Wine Cask Series, and 6800 bottles were produced.
The spirit was first matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels, then moved into European wine barriques. Master Blender Billy Walker combined four wine cask finishes from Bordeaux, Languedoc and Valpolicella, which gives the Cuvée its name.
The palate shows stone fruits, toasted almonds and zesty orange peel.
