This single cask Meikle Tòir from GlenAllachie was distilled in 2019 and matured for seven years in a virgin oak hogshead, cask number 2716. It is bottled straight from the cask at 61.9% and was selected for Denmark.
The new oak is described as adding sweetness, spice and warm, toasted wood notes, which sit alongside the characteristic peat smoke of Meikle Tòir. At cask strength, the whisky is intense and concentrated.
