Meikle Tòir The Original is a peated Speyside single malt from GlenAllachie, aged five years and bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Its phenol level is 35ppm.
The whisky was matured in first-fill bourbon, rye barrels and American virgin oak. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. The peat is less强 than in an Islay malt, and the smoke sits alongside the sweetness of Speyside.
The notes are baking spices, roasted honey and sweet peat smoke.
