This is an 11 year old Speyside single malt from The GlenAllachie, the third part of the Sinteis Series devised by Master Distiller Billy Walker. It was distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2026 at a cask strength of 57.4% ABV, non-chill filtered and of natural colour, in a 70cl bottle.
The malt marries whisky matured in Oloroso sherry casks with spirit aged in French virgin Limousin oak. The oak was medium toasted, medium charred and air-dried for 15 months before filling.
The nose offers orange zest, nutmeg, dried orchard fruits, honeycomb and mocha. The palate moves from heather honey and spiced orange to baked apple, muscovado sugar and cinnamon, ending on hazelnuts and mocha.
