A 15 year old Glencadam distilled in 2007, first matured in ex-bourbon American oak and then finished in Oloroso sherry butts from Jerez. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and with no added colour. The Reserva de Jerez release was limited to 9,420 individually numbered bottles.
The nose offers rich praline, roasted nuts, golden syrup and candied citrus peel. The palate is sweet and rounded, with sultana, milk chocolate and heather honey, then nutmeg and gentle oak spice. The finish is warming and lingering, with baked apple, sweet spice and a touch of espresso.
