Glencadam Reserva Andalucía is a Highland single malt made as a tribute to Spain's Jerez region. It combines whisky matured in sherry and bourbon casks, then finishes it in Oloroso sherry butts from Andalucía. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
The finishing period adds warming spice, dried fruit and a honeyed depth to the blend.
The nose is baklava, honeyed orchard fruit and vanilla pod, with melted brown sugar and cinnamon. On the palate it is creamy, with stewed apple, treacle toffee and plump raisin. The finish brings brown sugar, green oak and a touch of maple syrup.
