Glencadam Reserva PX is a Highland single malt, an official distillery bottling at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered, with no added colour.
The whisky matures first in American oak ex-bourbon casks, then is married and finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry butts from Andalucía.
The nose is typically described as dried fig and dark chocolate with fruitcake, cedar and warming clove. The palate is sweet and rounded, with treacle toffee, prune, cherry and gentle spice. The finish is warming and persistent, with toffee, fruitcake, crystallised ginger and a touch of espresso.
