Glendalough Calvados XO Cask Finish is an Irish whiskey in a 750ml bottle, bottled at 42% ABV. After its time in cask, it is given a final stage in Calvados XO casks.
The Calvados finish gives it an orchard-fruit character. The nose is described as crisp apple with a little vanilla and spice. On the palate, the sweetness of orchard fruit meets malt, with honeyed apple, caramel and toasted oak, leading to a long, smooth, warming finish.
