Glendalough – Double Barrel Irish Whiskey

This is an Irish whiskey from Glendalough, matured in two types of cask: American oak bourbon barrels and Spanish oak Oloroso casks. The bourbon barrels give sweet honey and smooth vanilla, forming the base of the flavour. The Oloroso casks add dried fruit and nutty notes. Those casks are sourced from the small Andalusian town of Montilla, where the distillery works directly with producers to choose the bodega, the liquid and the seasoning time.
