This is Glendronach 12 Year Old, a Highland single malt Scotch whisky matured for twelve years in a combination of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose offers raisins, gingerbread, spice and orange peel. The palate is rich with dried fruits, chocolate praline, caramelised orange and warming spice. The finish is long and smooth, gently spiced, with a lingering sweetness.
