GlenDronach 18 Year, known as the Allardice after the distillery's founder James Allardice, is an 18-year-old Highland single malt bottled at 46% in a 750ml bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The whisky spends all eighteen years in Spanish Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.
The nose is dark cherry and fig deepening into treacle and cocoa. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with raisins, stewed fruit and dark chocolate, and the finish is long and warming with sherry sweetness and oak spice.
