This is a single cask Glendronach distilled in 1990 and matured for 27 years in a PX puncheon. It is Batch 16, bottled at 50.9%, from a Highland distillery. The cask is described as giving raisins, dates and prunes, along with plums that seem to have been marinated in Cognac. Dark, spiced notes come through with brown sugar and dark chocolate, and the whole is likened to drinking a PX sherry.
