A 19 year old single cask malt from Glendronach, the Aberdeenshire distillery near Huntly. It was distilled in 1995 and matured in a sherry cask, number 4943, before bottling in September 2015 at 54.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The release of 633 bottles was made for the UK.
The nose is rich in sherry, with sweetness, orange, vanilla, almonds, forest honey and dark chocolate with dark berries. The palate is full and powerful, with sherry, chocolate, coffee, caramel, vanilla and cinnamon. The finish is very long, sweet and spicy.
