GlenDronach Boynsmill House is a 14-year-old Highland single malt, bottled at 46.8% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It was released in 2026 for The GlenDronach's 200th anniversary, the distillery having been founded in 1826 by James Allardice, and it honours Boynsmill House, where he entertained his guests.
Master Blender Dr Rachel Barrie matured the whisky in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks with a small number of Claret red wine casks, which add red berry fruit.
The nose is a medley of fruit and nuts with Highland toffee, bramble, stone fruit, hazelnut and raisin. The palate is plush, ripe malt with dried fruits and nuts, rising to chocolate caramel. The finish is mellow and velvety, with lingering stone fruit and plum.
