This is a 1992 Glendronach, 24 years old, drawn from a single Oloroso sherry butt, cask 226. It is bottled at 58.4% in a 70cl bottle, and the cask produced a limited edition of 554 bottles, released in 2016.
The colour is dark cherry wood. The nose has fresh herbal notes running through roasted coffee beans, with black pepper and sweet, ripe Mediterranean fruits. On the palate, stewed dark fruits, demerara sugar and roasted coffee come with hints of spicy cedar wood, clove and mixed peel.
