GlenDronach Grandeur Batch 12 is a 29 year old single malt, a distillery bottling from the Grandeur series, bottled in 2023 at 49.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was made from a selection of the distillery's oldest oloroso sherry casks, and its dark colour develops naturally from the Spanish oak.
The nose has sherry, cocoa, damson, glazed cherries, spiced bramble, dates, walnut and arabica coffee. The palate brings raisin and dark plum with cocoa and syrup, then cherry brandy and espresso. The finish is of tobacco and sherry-soaked walnut.
