GlenDronach 30 Year Old is a Highland single malt matured for three decades in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks made of Spanish oak. It was hand-selected by Master Blender Rachel Barrie.
Bottled at 46.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle, it is non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The nose is dark chocolate ganache, treacle toffee, sweet sultanas, roasted coffee beans, cinnamon and dates. The palate is velvety, with fruitcake, Seville orange peel, balsamic glaze, hazelnuts and spicy oak, building in dark fruit and spice. The finish is very long and warming, with dried fruits, sherry-soaked oak, nutmeg and cacao nibs.
