GlenDronach – Cask Strength Batch 7 (57.9%)

GlenDronach Cask Strength Batch 7 is a Highland single malt bottled at 57.9% ABV. It was matured in Spanish sherry casks from Andalusia, a pairing of Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez chosen by the master blender, and it is bottled without chill-filtration and with a naturally deep colour. Oloroso brings dark pickled blackberries and gentle spice, while Pedro Ximénez adds dark chocolate and stewed fruit. With a drop or two of water, the whisky is described as opening towards wild figs, blackberry, baked apple and Victoria plum.
