GlenDronach Cask Strength Batch 7 is the seventh release in the Highland distillery's cask strength series, the first of which appeared in 2009. It is bottled at 57.9%.
The whisky is a vatting of single malt from both younger and older Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.
The nose brings cherry, sherry brandy, chocolate, wild figs and Highland toffee. The palate is full and creamy, with orange peel and roasted chestnuts. The finish carries chocolate, plums and walnuts.
