This is GlenDronach Grandeur, a 24-year-old single malt distilled in 1994 and bottled in 2018 as Batch 9. It was matured in sherry casks and bottled at 48.7% in a 70cl bottle, with 1,487 bottles filled.
Intense sherry runs through the nose and palate, alongside cherries, blueberries and almonds, then coffee, caramel and plums. The finish is very long, with raisins, dark chocolate, mint and oak spice.
