This is GlenDronach Grandeur, a 29-year-old single malt distilled in 1994 and bottled in September 2023 as Batch 12. It was matured in sherry casks and bottled at 49.2% in a 70cl bottle, with 2,940 bottles filled.
Intense sherry runs through the nose and palate, alongside cherries, blueberries and almonds, then coffee, caramel and plums. The finish is very long, with raisins, dark chocolate, mint and oak spice.
