GlenDronach House Editions Parisian Room is a Highlands single malt matured in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, with French Cognac casks added to the maturation. Master blender Rachel Barrie composed it, and it draws on the hospitality of the distillery's founder, James Allardice, and the Paris of the 19th century. It is bottled at 49% ABV, in natural colour and without chill-filtration.
The nose brings baked apple, plums and honeyed grapes, with elderflower and nutmeg. The palate has Medjool dates, fig galette, glazed walnuts and juicy peach, with a subtle rosé note. Champagne truffle flavours lead into a long, nutty finish.
