GlenDronach – Ode to the Dark Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 50.8%)

GlenDronach Ode to the Dark is a Highland single malt without an age statement, from the distillery in Aberdeenshire. It is a 2025 release in The Master's Anthology series, bottled at 50.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle and of natural colour. The whisky was matured entirely in the Pedro Ximénez sherry casks for which GlenDronach is known. Master's Anthology ambassador Stewart Buchanan puts its age at between 8 and 13 years. The nose offers mocha, black cherry, dark chocolate, crème brûlée, raisins, brown sugar and ginger. On the palate come espresso, caramel, blue grapes and mint chocolate, and the finish brings cocoa, hazelnuts and cranberries.
