GlenDronach Ode to the Valley is a Highland single malt without an age statement, first released in 2024 as part of the Master's Anthology. It is bottled at 46.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is matured in a blend of Pedro Ximénez or Oloroso sherry casks and ruby Port casks from Portugal's Douro Valley. The style is fruit-forward and floral, with a lighter body.
The nose brings red berries, blackcurrant, rose petal and barley sugar, with ginger, cinnamon and black pepper. The palate is syrupy with red fruit, lemon juice and cocoa nibs. The finish is short to medium, with faint chocolate, spice and oak.
