GlenDronach Original 12 Year Old is a sherry-influenced single malt bottled at 43%. It matured for more than 12 years in Spanish sherry casks that previously held Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso. It is non-chill-filtered and has no caramel colouring.
The colour is amber gold. The nose is sweet and creamy, with vanilla, dark dried fruits and spice. On the palate the sherry cask influence comes through with nuts and dried fruits, and the whisky is silky, with a good length to the finish.
