GlenDronach Revival is a 15 year old Highland single malt, bottled at 46% ABV in a 700ml bottle. It was discontinued in 2015 and brought back in 2018, which gives the Revival its name. The distillery was founded by James Allardice in 1826.
The whisky is matured in Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks from Andalucia, Spain. It is bottled non-chill filtered and at natural colour.
The nose offers maraschino cherry, ripe bramble and dark chocolate mint. The palate has honey-glazed apricot, ripe fig, black cherry and muscovado, and the finish is long, with dark manuka honey, herbal bitters and dark chocolate.
