GlenDronach – Revival 15 Year Old

GlenDronach Revival is a 15 year old single malt that returns to the distillery's core range after production stopped in 2015. It follows the distillery's Spanish sherry cask style, matured in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso casks from Andalucía and kept in dunnage warehouses for 15 years. The nose offers maraschino cherry, ripe bramble and dark chocolate mint, with orange bitters and walnut liqueur. On the palate come honey-glazed apricot and ripe fig, building to black cherry, angelica and muscovado. The finish is long, with dark manuka honey, herbal bitters and dark chocolate.
